Dr Wha-Choul Lee

Dr Lee is the Principal Dentist and Practice Owner of Sawtry Dental Surgery.
Dr Lee qualified from Wits University, Johannesburg, South Africa in July 2000 and has completed multiple post graduate training programs in the UK, USA, France and Germany, with a special interest in restorative dentistry and dental implantology.
Dr Lee has completed the prestigious Diploma Implant Dentistry presented by the Royal College of Surgeons. The Diploma is recognised as the gold standard in dental implant courses.
Dr Lee also has a special interest in conscious sedation dentistry and has treated hundreds of (nervous) patients for restorative dentistry and dental implants to date.
Dr Lee successfully completed his post graduate endodontic (root canal) programme in Liverpool.
Eleanor Mackie

Eleanor has been a dedicated member of the Sawtry Dental since 2018, when she first joined the surgery as a trainee dental nurse. After qualifying in 2021, she pursued her degree at the University of Lancashire, returning to the team as a Dental Therapist at the end of 2025.
Eleanor is dual-trained in restorative treatments and dental hygiene. Her long-standing experience in the surgery environment allows her to provide a calm, supportive experience for patients of all ages, ensuring they feel confident and at ease during their visit.
Outside of the clinic, Eleanor has a keen interest in fashion and makeup artistry. She also enjoys visiting local coffee shops and spending her downtime with her family, friends, and her dog.
Dr Fahd Saleh

Specialist Periodontist with a special interest in Dental Implants
Fahd qualified in 2003 from the University of Glasgow. He developed a wide repertoire of clinical interests through various hospital posts and degrees.
Fahd completed specialist training with distinction from Guys and St Thomas Hospital Trust and Kings College London and is currently the clinical lead for periodontics in several award-winning practices.
Alongside his clinical commitments, Fahd continues to maintain an active interest in periodontal research and teaching. He actively participates in mentoring and training dentists and hygienists and has given numerous lectures to local, national and international audiences.
Fahd is the recipient of numerous awards such as the Odontology President’s Clinical Research Prize by the Royal Society of Medicine for his work on antimicrobial peptides. He was also the recipient of the Ron Wilson research prize from Kings College London. In 2017, Fahd was named ‘Dentist of the Year’ in recognition of his clinical, educational and charitable activities.
Fahd accepts referrals for all aspect of periodontal problems i.e. gum disease such as mobile teeth, bone loss, gum recession and implant treatment for missing teeth.
Stephanie Ellard

Stephanie Ellard registered dental hygienist with 32 years experience. I qualified
from Birmingham Dental Hospital, in 1992, where I won the Oral B prize.
Have experience in treating implant patients and using airflow.
I have previously worked at Cathedral Square Dental practice for 30 years, WeCare
Dental for 4 years before moving to Sawtry Dental in April 2024.
My hobbies include running, cycling and learning to play ukulele.
Marta Markowska

I have been a dental nurse for over 17 years and joined the practice in 2015. Throughout my career, I have completed various advanced training courses, including dental radiography, implants, impression taking, disease prevention, and sedation.
As a head nurse, I am highly skilled in all aspects of dental nursing and particularly enjoy working alongside implant surgeons and cosmetic dentists.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, exploring new places and cooking.
Tetyana (Tania) Prydachuk

I joined Sawtry Dental Surgery in August 2020 as an apprentice dental nurse and qualified in 2023. In 2024, I completed a radiography course and am excited to continue developing my skills and knowledge in dentistry.
I am currently enrolled in a Practice Manager course and have a dual role as Practice Manager and Dental Nurse.
I enjoy all aspects of my job, especially being part of a friendly and supportive team where we work together to provide excellent care for our patients.
Outside of work, I love reading, cycling, and exploring new places with my family.

I am a qualified dental nurse and I have worked in Sawtry Dental Practice since 2021. Dr Lee and my colleagues have been very supportive through my training course and they have helped me with life changing steps to become a dental nurse.
My motto in life is ”Why live life halfway? Live your life to the fullest”. I love traveling, camping, hiking, exploring new places and baking cakes.
I have recently enrolled in the BDA Radiography Course and when I complete this course, will be qualified to take x rays of our patients.

I joined Sawtry Dental in October 2022 and qualified as a dental nurse in February 2025.
I am currently training as a Dental Implant Nurse under Marta and Tania. Later this year, I will enrol on the BDA Radiography Course enabling me to take x-rays for patients.
Outside of work I enjoy walking, baking, watching movies and playing cards with my family and friends. I also regularly share in volunteer work, which sometimes includes volunteering on construction projects for a charity.

I qualified in 1998 from Bristol Dental School and undertook Dental Foundation Training on the Bedford Scheme. My particular interest is adhesive dentistry and I have benefited from working on a therapeutic PDS scheme for two years. I enjoy continually studying and developing my dentistry and have taken various postgraduate qualifications. I have been an Educational Supervisor since 2002 and love seeing the Foundation Dentists grow their skills and confidence during their DFT year.
