Transform Your Smile

Do you have gaps in your smile from missing teeth?

Are you tired of dentures that slip when you eat, speak, or laugh?

We suggest that you learn more about dental implants. This advanced method of tooth replacement is ideal for replacing single teeth and securing loose-fitting dentures. At Sawtry Dental, we place and restore dental implants to give patients attractive, natural-looking, and secure smiles.

A dental implant replaces both the root of the tooth (the part below the gum line) and the crown ( the part above the gum line).

Restore Your Smile

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone beneath your gums. Once in place, they allow your dentist to mount replacement teeth onto them. Because implants fuse to your jawbone, they provide stable support for artificial teeth, ensuring that dentures and bridges mounted to implants won’t slip or shift in your mouth—a crucial benefit while eating and speaking.

An implant can support a single replacement tooth, several teeth, a bridge, or be used for implant-supported dentures.

At Sawtry Dental, our expert dental lab crafts crowns using only the highest-quality materials. This ensures they are durable enough to withstand chewing and biting forces while also delivering excellent aesthetics, restoring your smile to its most natural appearance.

What Are The Benefits Of Dental Implants?

Improved Appearance

Dental implants look and feel like your natural teeth. They are designed to fuse with the bone, becoming permanent and aesthetically pleasing.

Enhanced Comfort

Unlike removable dentures, implants eliminate the discomfort of slipping or moving. No more need for messy adhesives.

Improved Speech

Dentures can slip and cause mumbling or slurred speech. Implants allow you to speak clearly without worry.

Durability

Implants are very durable and can last many years—or even a lifetime—with proper care.

Improved Eating and Chewing

Implants function like real teeth, allowing you to eat your favorite foods without pain or slipping. They restore full chewing power.

Bone Preservation

Implants help prevent bone loss by stimulating the jawbone, maintaining its shape and density.

The Process Of Getting Dental Implants

Consultation

A detailed assessment using advanced 3D imaging to evaluate bone density and plan implant placement. Discussion of treatment options tailored to your needs.

Implant Placement

A titanium implant is surgically inserted into the jawbone, acting as a replacement tooth root. Performed under local anaesthesia for a pain-free experience.

Healing Period

Over 3 to 6 months, the implant fuses with the bone, ensuring long-term stability. A temporary tooth may be provided during the healing process.

Custom Crown Fitting

Once healed, a natural-looking porcelain or zirconia crown is attached. The final result is a strong, aesthetic front tooth replacement.

Types Of Dental Implants

Single Implant

Single implant is the best solution you can get to replace a missing tooth to look the most natural. It has significant benefits over alternative options. Single dental implants are loved the most due to their advantages being the most comfortable and looking as natural as your original tooth.

Multiple Implants

If you are missing a number of adjacent teeth they may either be replaced with individual implants (one for each missing tooth), or by joining two or more implants together. This option can make implant treatment more affordable when patients are missing many teeth.

All-On-4 Dental Implants

All-On-Four is a cost-efficient dental implant solution that offers a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery.

All-On-6 Dental Implants

All-on-6 treatment provides patients with a fixed full arch of new teeth supported by 6 dental implants.

After they cancelled my appointment I had waited months for (only an hour before I was meant to arrive), they had zero care and tried to reschedule it 2 months later, they had zero care for me as a new patient.

I'm probably the world's worst dental patient as I have an absolute phobia of being in the "chair" but Dr Lee put me at ease. Not only does he have the patience of a saint but he is professional, explains everything, he is honest and has a fabulous sense of humour!

I highly recommend Dr Lee and therefore have registered my children with him too.

Very friendly practice, helpful staff and Dentists.
Price is very reasonable for private dentistry but more importantly the chief dentist Lee, was able to give you comprehensive understanding of your problems and provide you range of potential treatment options, then offering his advice for the most suitable for you. His work seems excellent with a lot of care and I am very pleased to have chosen this dentist and confident my teeth will get better.
